A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
OF, AND ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY, CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR SEWER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, VERA B. OFFICER, a widow, is the owner
of the hereinafter described real property situated in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is desirous of pur-
chasing said real property for municipal purposes, to wit:
An easement for sewer purposes; and
WHEREAS, said owner has offered to sell and con-
vey said property to the City of Anaheim for the sum of
$350.00 cash, lawful money of the United States, and has
tendered to the City an easement deed for said property to
be recorded upon the payment to said owner of said sum of
$350.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and deter-
mine that the price which the owner of said property is
willing to accept` is fair and reasonable, and that it
would be for the benefit and best interest of the City
to accept said offer and purchase said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED by City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of VERA B. OFFICER,
a widow, to sell and convey to the City of Anaheim all that
real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, more particularly described
as follows:
An easement for sewer purposes over, under
and across the Northerly 15.00 feet of the
following described land:
Lot 8 and the Easterly 10.00 feet of Lot 9,
of the J. D. Taylor Tract, as shown on a
Map, recorded in Book 36, Pages 58, 59 and
60, of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California;
for the sum of Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) cash,
lawful money of the United States, be and the same is
hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim,
and that the City of Anaheim accept the easement deed for
said property tendered to the City of Anaheim and dated
June 21, 1961.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby authorized to pay
to the owner of said real property the sum of Three Hundred
Fifty Dollars ($350.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 17th day of October, 1961.

the City Council of the City of Anaheim, held on the 17th day of
October, 1961, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Chandler, Coons, Fry, Thompson
and Schutte.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Resolution No. 7283 on the 17th
day of.October, 1961.
