A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes an 3
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered t
sell and convey the same to tTie City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of WESMAC CONSTRUCTION OORP., a
California corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: An easement for road and public utility
purposes over, under and across the Northerly 53.00
feet (as measured to the center line of La Palma
Avenue) of that parcel of land described as follows:
The Westerly two thirds of Lot Three (3) of Orange
Grove Acres, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 6,
page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Southerly 479.15 feet.
(For the purpose of this description, the lot line
is assumed to be the center line of the street.)
PARCEL TWO: An easement for public utility purposes
over, under and across the Easterly 8 feet of that
parcel of land described above as Parcel One;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
d Anahe im, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1900)
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
