A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes

WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to T e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of TEACHERS INSURANCE AND ANNUITY
ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA, a New York cor oration

situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes

An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across the Westerly 38.00 feet of the following described parcel of lane:
That portion or the East half of the Southwest quarter of Section 3,
Township South, Range 1' West, S.B.B. described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the South half of the Northeast
quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 3; thence Easterly
along the Northerly line of the South half of the Northeastquarter
or the Southwest quarter of said Section 3 to a point, in the Northerly
extension or the Westerly line of the land described in Parcel Two
in the deed to the U.S. Industrial Alcohol Co., recorded November
15, 1926 in Book 68`x, Page 83 o' Deeds; thence South 0 02 l East
along said extended line and along the Westerly line of Parcels One
and Two as conveyed to said U. S. Industrial Alcohol Co., by deed
above mentioned to a point North 2' 11" VJ -st 1020.00 feet from
the Southerly line of said Section 3, said point being the true point
of beginning of this description; thence continuing South t° 02' 11<"
East 115.00 feet to the Northeast corner of that parcel of land
conveyed to Merrifield Trucking Company, as shown on a Map filed in
Book 16, page 39 of Record of Surveys, in the office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California; thence along the Northerly
line of said parcel, and parallel to the Southerly line of said
Section 3, 603.99 feet, more or less, to theWesterly line of the
East half cf the Southwest quarter or Section 3 and the center line of
North Lemon Street, 6(.00 feet in width; thence along the Westerly

of Anaheim be, and he is hereby authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property out of General Funds of the City of
