A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT JroR STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
is desirous of purohasing the hereinafter described real
property for public purposes, to wit: An easement tor
street and highway purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the
City of Anaheim to acoept said offer and purchase said real
prope rty.
NOW, THEREJroRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer ot ORANGE COUNTY Ft..OOD
CONTROL DISTRICT, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
described real"property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to be used for street
and highway purposes, and more particularly described as
tollows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the
Southerly line of Seotion 2, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, S. B. B. & M., and the center
line of East Street; thence Northwesterly
along said center line 1130.69 feet, more or
less, to the point of intersection ot said
center line with the easterly prolongation of
the Northerly line of the Southerly 66 feet
ot Lot 5 of the Stockwell Subdividion as
shown on a map filed in Book 6" page 10 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Reoords of Orange County,
Cal1t'ornia,
be, and the same is hereby, acoepted by the City Council ot
the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim aocept a
conveyanoe of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of
the City ot Anaheim be, and she is hereby, authorized to pay
to the Orange County FlOOd Control District out of General
Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One and nO/lOO
Dollars ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 10th day of July, 1956.
