A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE INCLUSION OF ADDITIONAL
STREETS IN THe SYSTEM OF IIJAJOR CITY STREm'S.
W~EREAS, Section 2052 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California provides that the system of Major City Streets shall be
selected by the City Council on the basis of greatest general City impor-
tance subject to the approval of the Department of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has selected.
certain streets which it desires to have included in the system of Major
City Streets, such additional streets being of importance to cross-town
traffic and the industrial development of the City.
THEREFORE, B;;; IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the Department of Public Works of the State of California be
requested to approve the inclusion of the following streets and portions
of streets in the system of Major City Streets of the City;
East Center Street from East Street to Placentia Avenue.
Anaheim-Olive Road from its intersection with East Center
Street to the easterly property line of Placentia Avenue.
The foregoing Resolution is approved and signed. by me this lOth
day of July, 1956.
