A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
C 1T Y OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to ate City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of E. H. SARGENT CO. a cor oration
organized under the laws of the Sta e of linois
o se o e ty o na elm e to owing described. real proper y
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Southerly three (3) feet of that
portion of Lot Nineteen (19) of Anaheim Extension, as
shown on a Map of Survey made by Wm. Hamel, a copy of
which is shown in Book 3, Pages 162 to 164, inclusive,
Records of Los Angeles County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Easterly line of
said Lot Nineteen (19) with a line that is parallel
with and distant Northerly 50.00 feet, measured at
right angles from the center line of Ball Road, as
shown on said Map; thence South 89° 56' 52" West along
said parallel line a distance of 250.00 feet; thence
North 15° 10' 07" West parallel with the Easterly line
of said Lot Nineteen (19), a distance of 331.48 feet;
thence North �4° 49' 53" East 241.35 feet to the
Easterly line of said Lot Nineteen (19); thence South
15° 10' 07" East, 396.68 feet to the point of beginning;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
d Anahe im, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim the sum of One Dollar ($1.00)
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
