1961-7170RESOLUTION NO. 7170 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes; and WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of JOHN B. KILROY, as his sole and separate property, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes, and more particularly described as follows: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across that portion of Lot 25 of Anaheim Extension, as shown on a Map made by William Hamel and filed for record in the office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, California, described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection of the South line of said Lot 25 with the Southerly prolongation of the West line of the land described in the deed to Nat Taylor and Sons Plumbing, Inc., a corporation, recorded in Book 2791, page 113 of Official Records (said point being distant thereon South 89 55' 11" West 657.00 feet from the West line of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company's right of way); thence continuing along said South line South 89 55' 11" West to a point thereon which is distant North 89 55' 11" East 382.60 feet from the Southwest corner of said Lot 25; thence North 0 04' 49" West 372.03 feet to the beginning of a circular curve, concave to the Southwest and having a radius of 57.00 feet; thence along said curve through a central angle of 247 42' 32" an arc distance of 246.43 feet to a point of reverse curvature; thence along a circular curve concave to the Southeast, having a radius of 30.00 feet through a central angle of 67 42' 32" an arc distance of 35.45 feet to a tangent line which is parallel with and distant Easterly 60.00 feet measured at right angles from the above men- tioned line, having a bearing of North 0 04' 49" West and a length of 372.03 feet; thence South 0 041 1L9" East along said parallel line 223.53 feet to the beginning of a circular curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence along said curve through a central angle of 90 00' 00" an arc distance of 23.56 feet to a line which is parallel with and distant Northerly -1- be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00). THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this 5th day of September, 1961. ATTEST: 53.00 feet, measured at right angles, from the South line of said Lot 25; thence North 89 55' 11" East along said parallel line to the West line of the land described in said deed to Nat Taylor and Sons Plumbing, Inc; thence South 0 04 49u East along said West line and its Southerly prolongation 53.00 feet to the point of beginning; STATE OF CALIFORNIA COUNTY OF ORANGE ss. WILLIAMS, City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 5th day of September, 1961, by the following vote of the members thereof: AYES: COUNCILMEN Chandler, Coons, Fry, Thompson and Schutte.
