A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD
AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the
City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of SIERRA DOWNS #3, Inc.,
a corporation, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes, and more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the West half of the
Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of the South-
west quarter of Section Twenty- eight, Township Four
South, Range Ten West, in the Rancho Las Bolsas, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 51, Page 10 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Tract No. 3816,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 142, pages 42 and
43 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County;
thence along the Northerly prolongation of the Westerly
line of said Tract No. 3816, North 0 55 35" West
212.61 feet to the South line of Orangewood Avenue, 4
feet wide, as shown on a Record of Survey filed in
Book 26, Page 7 of Record of Surveys, in the office of
the County Recorder of Orange County, California;
thence along said South line North 89° 131 35" East
100.65 feet to the West line of the East 100 feet of
said West half of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest
quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section Twenty
eight; thence along said last mentioned West line South
0 551 15" East 25.00 feet; thence parallel to said
South line, South 89° 131 35" West 55.60 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly and
having a radius of 15 feet; thence Southerly along
said curve, through a central angle of 90° 09 10"
an arc distance of 23.60 feet to a line that is par-
allel with and distant Easterly 30.01 feet, measured
at right angles, from said Northerly prolongation of
the Westerly line of Tract No. 3816; thence along said
parallel line South 0° 55 35" East 71.49 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly and

having a radius of 95 feet; thence Southeasterly
along said last mentioned curve, through a central
angle of 22° 231 24" an arc distance of 37.12 feet
to the beginning of a reverse curve concave South-
westerly and having a radius of 170.16 feet and
being tangent at its Southerly terminus to the
Northerly prolongation of the Easterly line of Delia
Lane as shown on the Map of said Tract No. 3816;
thence Southerly along said last mentioned curve an
arc distance of 66.49 feet to said last mentioned
prolongation; thence along said last mentioned pro-
longation South 0 55t 35" East 0.13 feet to the
Northerly line of said Tract No. 3816; thence along
said Northerly line, South 89° 13 35" West 50.00
feet to the point of beginning;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a
conveyance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 5th day of September 19 61

City Council of the City of Anaheim, held on the 5th day of
September, 1961, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Chandler, Coons, Fry, Thompson and
Schutte.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCLLMEN: None.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY, that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Resolution No. 7168 on the 5th day of
September, 1961.
