A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A PERMIT SUBMITTED BY
THE ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT TO
THE CITY TO REMOVE AN EXISTING STORM DRAIN
AND CONSTRUCT A NEW L2- INCH STORM DRAIN
CONNECTION TO SAID DISTRICT'S BRIDGE STRUCTURE
OF THE CARBON CREEK CHANNEL AT KNOTT AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore made
application to the Orange County Flood Control District for
a permit to remove an existing storm drain and construct a new
42 -inch storm drain connection to said District's bridge
structure of the Carbon Creek. Channel at Knott Avenue; and
WHEREAS, plans for the construction of said new storm
drain connection, designated "Storm Drain Improvement Plans
#4820, of the City of Anaheim," have been filed with and approved
by said District's Flood Control Engineer; and
WHEREAS, Orange County Flood Control District did
on August 22, 1961, submit to the City Council a form of permit
to be accepted by the City of Anaheim offering to grant to
the City permission to remove an existing storm drain and
construct a new 42 -inch storm drain connection to the district's
bridge structure of the Carbon Creek Channel at Knott Avenue in
accordance with the Storm Drain Improvement plans #4820 of the
City of Anaheim, subject to the terms, covenants, conditions and
agreements therein set forth to be kept, performed and observed
by the City, which permit the City Council finds would be for the
benefit and best interest of the City and should be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the permit of the Orange County Flood
Control District, No. 11561, submitted August 22, 1961, to the
City of Anaheim, granting to the City permission to remove an
existing storm drain and construct a new 42 -inch storm drain
connection to the district's bridge structure of the Carbon
Creek Channel at Knott Avenue in accordance with the Storm
Drain Improvement plans #4820 of the City of Anaheim, subject
to the terms, covenants, conditions and agreements set forth
in said permit to be performed and observed by the City of
Anaheim, be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to accept said permit
submitted August 22, 1961, for and on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 29th day of August, 1961.
