A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITYSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
ut i 1 t urposes anU—
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha Ve offered to
sell and convey the same to tFie City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the.benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that. the offer of TED R. COOPER and LOIS N. COOPER,
husband and wife.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the followinTribed real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utilit purposes
and more particurarly descr ed as fo ow~
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Northerly 45.00 feet (as measured
to the center line of Cerritos Avenue) of that parcel
of land, being a portion of the Northwest quarter of
the Southeast quarter of Section 23, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, S.E.B. M., described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Northwest`
quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 23,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West; thence North 89
46' 53" West 249.97 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence South 0 03 52 West 373.02 feet;
thence South 76 16+ 52" West 85.12 feet to a point
being 15 feet Northeasterly measured at right angles
from the center line of the now existing Jewel Tea
tracks; thence Northwesterly 15'feet from and parallel
to the said center line of the Jewel Tea tracks to
the center line of Cerritos Avenue; thence South
89° 460 53" East hh4.16 feet to the true point of
beginning;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
'Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funs of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1
