RESOLUTION NO. 7145
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO MAKE CERTAIN
REFUNDS UPON CERTIFICATION BY APPROPRIATE
OFFICIALS.
WHEREAS, in the administration of the routine
business of the City of Anaheim, errors occur resulting in
duplicate payment, overpayment or erroneous payment of
City fees, licenses and other charges; and
WHEREAS, under present operating procedures
City Council action is necessary to authorize refunds of
such erroneous payments and that in taking action thereon
the City Council relies upon the certification of the
correctness of such refund claims by the particular depart-
ment head involved; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the authority to make such refunds should be delegated
to the Finance Director upon proper certification thereof
by the appropriate department head involved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Finance Director be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to make refunds on
all claims based upon duplicate payment, overpayment or
erroneous payment of City fees, licenses and other charges
upon certification as to the correctness and propriety of
such refunds by the appropriate department head or official
involved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 29th day of August 1961.

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Resolution Nu. 7145 on the 29th day of
August, 1961.
