A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM CONFIRMING THE ITEMIZED WRITTEN REPORT
OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS SHOWING THE COST
OF WEED ABATEMENT IN FRONT OF OR ON EACH SEPARATE
PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED IN THE CITY WHERE SUCH WEEDS
HAVE BEEN REMOVED OR ABATED BY THE CITY, AND DIRECT
ING THE FILING OF A CERTIFIED COPY THEREOF WITH THE
COUNTY AUDITOR.

WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Anaheim
having filed his report showing the cost of removing weeds from streets
within the City of Anaheim, as heretofore ordered by Resolution No. 6735,
and the City Council having heard said report, and no objections having
been raised by the property owners liable to be assessed for the work of
abating such nuisance.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AND ORDER As FOLLOWS:
1. That the report of said. Superintendent of Streets be,
and the same is hereby, confirmed.
2. That the cost as to each lot, as set forth in said report
of the Superintendent of Streets, is ascertained and determined to be a
correct cost.
3. That all sums for the cost of removal of weeds, rubbish
and refuse not paid on or before the first of July, 1961, are hereby de-
clared to be a lien upon the property from which such weeds, rubbish and
refuse have been removed by the.Superintendent of Streets, and shall be
collected with the taxes on said property.
4. That the City Finance Director be, and she is hereby
authorized and directed to file with the County Auditor of the County of
Orange, on or before August 5, 1961, a certified copy of this resolution
and a certified copy of the report of the Superintendent of. Streets hereby
confirmed; and the County Auditor is authorized and requested to enter each
assessment on the County tax rolls opposite the parcel of land, and add the
amount of the assessment to the next regular tax bill levied against each
of said parcels for municipal purposes.
