RESOLUTION NO. 62R -58
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STREET AND HIGHWAY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for street and
highway purposes and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of JOSEPH WILLIAM HEINZ
and CATHERINE HEINZ, husband and wife,

property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for street

An easement for street and highway purposes over, under
and across that portion of Lot 5, Miles Rancho, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 4, page 7 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the center line of the street ad-
joining said lot on the East, distant Northerly 420.15 feet
from the intersection of said center line with the center line
of the street adjoining said lot on the South, said point
also being the Northeast corner of the land described in
the deed to Theresa A. Rees recorded October 21, 1953 in
Book 2596, page 631 of Official Records; thence Westerly
along the Northerly line of said land of Rees, 45.00 feet;
thence Northerly along a line parallel with, and distant
45.00 feet Westerly of the center line of said first
mentioned street, to a point in the Northerly line of the
land described in the deed to Joseph William Heinz et ux.,
recorded October 24, 1934 in Book 708, page 310 of Official
Records; thence Northeasterly along said Northerly line to
the Northeast corner of said land of Heinz, being a point
in the center line of said first mentioned street adjoining
said lot on the East; thence Southerly along said center
line to the point of beginning.

City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
