1961-7448WHEREAS, the City Council has directed the,pre-
paration of a new comprehensive zoning ordinance for the City
of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared a proposed
amendment to Title 18, Chapter 18.08 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code relating to definitions; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Planning
Department have recommended that the present City Zoning
Ordinance be amended to incorporate said definitions into
the code prior to the completion of the final comprehensive
zoning ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires that theforegoing
proposed amendment to said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code, together with any and all subsequent amendments thereto
prepared by the City Attorney, be referred to the City Planning
Commission of the City of Anaheim for a report and recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the California Government Code
and the Anaheim Municipal Code, that the proposed amendment to
Title 18, Chapter 18.08 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, relating
to definitions, be and the same is hereby, referred to the
City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim for report and
recommendation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED as to any and all subsequent
proposed amendments prepared by the City Attorney that the same
be referred to the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim for report and recommendation.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Planning
Commission of the City of Anaheim be, and it is hereby, directed
to hereafter initiate and propose the adoption of such amendments
to Title 18 of said Anaheim Municipal Code, subject to its
recommendation.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
