A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE
PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY
DATED NOVEMBER 15, 1961, WITH REFERENCE
TO CERTAIN LAND LEASED BY THE CITY TO SAID
TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY.

WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and The Pacific Tele-
phone and Telegraph Company entered into an agreement dated
November 15, 1961, under and by virtue of which the City of
Anaheim leased to said Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company
certain land in connection with the relocation of the Anaheim
Cerritos pole mounted repeaters; and
WHEREAS, through inadvertence, the legal description
of the demised premises showed distances of 65 feet and 55
feet respectively, whereas it was the intention of the parties
that the distances should be 75 feet and 65 feet respectively;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and said Telephone
and Telegraph Company desire to enter into an amendment to
said agreement dated November 15, 1961, correcting the dis-
tances hereinabove referred to in the legal description of
the demised property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that that certain agreement made and
entered into by and between the City of Anaheim and The
Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company on November 15, 1961,
under and by virtue of which the City leased to said Tele-
phone and Telegraph Company certain land in connection with
the relocation of the Anaheim Cerritos pole- mounted repeaters,
be, and the same is hereby, amended by correcting the legal
description of said land to read as follows:
All of that certain parcel of land owned by the
City of Anaheim, located in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, being a
portion of the Southwest quarter of Section 23,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S. B. B. M.,
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of that parcel
of land conveyed to the City of Anaheim, a muni-
cipal corporation, as Parcel No. One in deed re-
corded in Book 5668, page 774 of Official Records
of Orange County, California; thence North 0 03'
45" West a distance of 87.12 feet to the true
point of beginning; thence along a line bearing
South 89° 56' 15" West a distance of 75.00 feet;
thence South 0 03' 45" East a distance of 45.00
feet; thence North 89° 56' 15" East a distance of
10.00 feet; thence North 0 03' 45" West a distance
of 35.00 feet; thence North 89° 561 15" East a
distance of 65.00 feet to the intersection with
the East line of the Southwest quarter of Section 23,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S. B. B. M.,

said East line also being the center line of Lewis
Street; thence North 0 03 45" West 10.00 feet
along the East line of the Southwest quarter of
said Section 23 to the true point of beginning.
RESERVING THEREFROM unto the City of Anaheim, a
municipal corporation, an easement for road and
public utility purposes, over, under and across
the Easterly 45.00 feet (as measured at right
angles to the center line of Lewis Street).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and
City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized to execute
an amendment to said agreement dated November 15, 1961,
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 5th day of December, 1961.

passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council
held on the 5th day of December, 1961, by the following

and Schutte.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 5th day
of December, 1961.
