A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT 'FOR THE INSTALLATION AND
MAINTENANCE OF A SEWER LINE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for the installation
and maintenance of a sewer line; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of DOROTHY C. ROSS and
GENEVIEVE C. EVERETT, as their sole and separate property, to
sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for an easement for the installation and
maintenance of a sewer line and more particularly described as
follows:
An easement for the installation and maintenance of a
sewer line over, under and across that portion of the land
allotted to Jose Antonio Yorba and Desiderio Burruel in decree of
partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, recorded in Book
B of Judgments of the 17th Judicial District Court of California,
located in the County of Orange, State of California, and de-
scribed in accordance with a map filed in Book 33, page 34 of Recorc
of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of said County,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the center line of the Santa
Ana Canyon Road, North 15° 30 15" East 1005.27 feet from the
intersection thereof with the centerline of Anaheim -Olive Road;
thence North 67° 401 051 West 145.76 feet; thence North 15° 29 32"
East parallel with the Northwesterly line of that 50.00 foot
right of way conveyed to the Riverside, Santa Ana and Los Angeles
Railway Company (now the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company) by deed recorded June 18, 1887 in Book 2)1)1, page 77 of
Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California, a distance of
269.95 feet, more or less, to the intersection of the North-
easterly line of that land conveyed to Dorothy C. Ross and
Genevieve C. Everett by Decree of Distribution recorded December
26, 1958 in Book 4528, page 493 of Official Records; thence South
41° 311 00" East along said North line a distance of 23.83 feet,
more or less, to a point in the Northwesterly line of the above
mentioned 50.00 foot right of way conveyed to said Riverside,
Santa Ana and Los Angeles Railway Company; thence South 15° 29 32"
West along said Northwesterly right of way line a distance of
249.29 feet; thence South 67° 401 05" East 145.76 feet, more or
less, to the intersection with the center line of the Santa Ana
Canyon Road; thence Southwesterly along said center line to the
point of beginning;
be and the same is hereby,accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim bes and he is hereby authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim the sum of One Doll r (1000)0
