A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF A PIPE LINE LICENSE AGREE-
MENT WITH THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE
RAILWAY COMPANY GRANTING TO THE CITY A
LICENSE TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN ONE PIPE
LINE 18' IN DIAMETER ACROSS OR ALONG THE
RIGHT OF WAY OF SAID RAILWAY COMPANY AT OR
NEAR THE STATION OF OLIVE, ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company, a Kansas corporation, has tendered to the City of
Anaheim a license agreement dated October 26, 1961, licensing
the City of Anaheim to construct, maintain and use, solely
for carrying sewage effluent, one pipe line 18" in diameter,
across or along the right -of ::way of the Atchison, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railway Company at o-r near the station of Olive,
Orange County, California, subject to the terms, covenants and
conditions contained -in said agreement, the exact Location of
said pipe line being more particularly shown Upon said Railway
Company's print No. L- 3- 24841, dated October 16, 1961, marked
"Exhibit A," attached -to and made a part of said pipe line
license agreement; and
WHEREAS, said license agreement has this day been
submitted to the City Council for consideration, and the
City Council does find and determine that it would be for
the benefit and best. interest of the City of Anaheim to enter
into said license agreement with said Railway Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of. Anaheim -that the pipe line license agreement,
dated .October 26, 1961, tendered to the City of Anaheim= by
the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company, a Kansas
corporation, licensing the City of Anaheim to construct,
maintain and use, solely for carrying sewage effluent, one
pipe line 18" in diameter, across or along the right of way
of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company at or
near the station of Olive, Orange County, California,
subject to the terms, covenants and conditions contained
in said agreement, the exact location of said pipe line being
more particularly shown upon said Railway Company's print
No. L- 3- 2L811, dated October 16, 1961, marked "Exhibit A,"
attached to and made a part of said pipe line license agree-
ment, be, and the same is hereby approved and accepted.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and
City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute
said agreement above mentioned for and on behalf of the
City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this loth day of November 1961.
