A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SUPERINTENDENT
OF STREETS TO INSTALL PARKING METERS IN ALL
AREAS WITHIN THE CITY AS AUTHORIZED BY
SECTIONS 14.!}1.} .020 AND 14.44.030 OF THE ANA-
HEIM MUNICIPAL CODE AND ALL RESOLUTIONS
ADOPTED PURSUANT THERETO, AND IN ALL PLACES
FROM -WHICH THEYWEREREMOVED PURSUANT TO
RESOLUTION -NO. 62R -20.

WHEREAS,_ Section 14.44.020 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code establishes parking meter zones in the City, and Section
14.44.030, thereof, provides for the installation of parking
meters within such zones by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the 9th day of Janu-
ary, 1962, the City Council, adopted.Resolution No. 62R -20
authorizing and directing the Director of Public Works and
Superintendent of Streets to remove certain parking meters in-
stalled pursuant to said sections; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the removal
of said parking meters has aggravated the parking congestion in
the downtown business area of the City of Anaheim,. ?and that said
parking meters should be reinstalled in all places from which
they were removed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Director of
Public Works and Superintendent of Streets be, and he is hereby
authorized and directed to install parking meters in all areas
from which they were removed pursuant to said Resolution No.
62R -20, and that said installation be made immediately fol-
lowing the adoption of Ordinance No. 1685
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No.
62R -20 be, and the same is hereby, rescinded.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 8th day of March, 1962.
