RESOLUTION NO. 3356

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNOIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF A LEASE TO COOK AND
BARLETTA OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OWNED
BY THE CI'rY OF ANAHEIM, AND SITUATED ON
LOARA. STREET.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of certain
real property situated on Loara Street in the City of Anahe1m,
hereinafter more particularly described; and
WHEREAS, the oopartnership firm of Cook and Barletta
has entered into a contract with the Orange County Joint Out-
fall Sewer for the maintenance, repair and operation of the
Magnolia Trunk Sewer Line and the Euclid Trunk Sewer Line,
and pertinent facilities, commencing on the 1st day of July,
1956 and extending for a period of three (3) years; and
WHEREAS, said Cook and Barletta have requested the
City of Anaheim to lease the property hereinafter described
to them for the maintenance of an offioe and as a place to
keep and maintain the equipment necessary and required by
them in providing the services under said contract made and
entered into wi th the Orm ge County Joint Outfall Sewer; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that said real property is not needed for any publiC purpose
at the present time, and that it would be to the advantage
of the City of Anaheim as a member of the Orange County Joint
Outfall Sewer to lease said property to said Cook and
Barletta for use by them for the maintenance of an office
and a place to keep and maintain the equipment necessary and
required by them in performing the contract made and entered
into with the Joint Outfall Sewer of Orange County, Cali-
fornia for the maintenanoe of its trunk sewer lines and
sewage disposal system.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the request of Cook and Barletta
to lease the property hereinafter described for the purposes
hereinabove mentioned be, and the same is hereby, granted,
and that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they are here-
by, authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City ot
Anaheim a lease wi th said Cook and Barletta upon the follow-
ing terms and oonditions, to wit:
1. That the term of said lease shall be for
a period of three (3) years, commencing
on the 1st day of July, 1956 and ending
on the 30th day of June, 1959.
2. That the monthly rental to be paid by said
Cook and Barletta shall be the sum of
$130.00, payable as follows:
Said rental shall be payable monthly in
advance on the first day of each and every
month, commencing on the 1st day of July,
1956.

3. That said lease shall contain the usual
forfeiture provisions for non-performance
of said lease.
The real property and premises hereinabove referred
to are more partioularly described as follows, to wit:
All that certain real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, de-
scribed as follows:
A parcel of land looated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, being a portion of Lot 10 of the
Anaheim Investment Company Subdivision as
shown on a map filed in Book 7, pages 33
and 34 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the offioe
of the County Recorder of said County, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the
center lines of Crone Avenue and Loara Street
looated in the said City of Anaheim; thence
along the center line of said Loara Street
N. O. 13' 30" W., 415 feet to the true point
of beginning; thence S. 890 46' 30" W., 168
feet; thenoe N. O. 13' 30" W. 86 feet; thence
N. 89. 46' 30" E., 168 feet; thenoe S. O. 13'
30" E., 86 feet to the true point of begin-
ning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Easterly 30 feet.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 26th day of June, 1956.
