A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERKINING THAT THE
PURCHASE OF REINFORCED CONCRETE STEEL CYLINDER
PIPE AND FITTINGS IS NECESSARY FOR THE WATER
DEPARTMENT; FIXING THE SPECIFICATIONS THEREOF;
AND DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF A NOTICE INVITING
BIDS FOR THE FURNISHING OF SAID PIPE AND FITTINGS.
WORK ORDER NO. 1425.
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
public convenience and necessity require the purchase and acqui-
aition of reinforced concrete steel cylinder pipe and fittings,
including rubber gaskets for installation, for use by the Water
Department of the City, in the amounts hereinafter specified;
and
WHEREAS, the City Counoil does further find that the
apecifications of such pipe and fittings should be fixed and
determined; and
WHEREAS, the City Counoil does find and determine that
notice should be published inviting bids for the furnish1rig Of
pipe and fittings in the amounts and in accordanoe with the
specifications hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ot
the City of Anaheim that all reinforoed concrete steel cylinder
pipe and fittings purchased by and furnished to the City ot
Anaheim shall conform to and oomply with "Interim Federal
Specifications." Pipe: Pressure, reinforced, concrete, pre-
tensioned reinforcement (steel oylinder type) - No. SS-P-00381
(GSA-FSS) issued April 2, 1953 and modified by the following:
Pipe shall be Class 150 for 150 pounds maximum water working
pressure.
AJID BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there shall be pur-
chased for the Water Department of the City of Anaheim rein-
forced concrete steel cylinder pipe and fittings, including
rubber gaskets for installation, in the following approximate
quantities, and, of the following sizes and descriptions:
Item 1:

Steel Cylinder Pipe, including
rubber gaskets for installation.
18" x 18" x 18" x 121 Fabri-
oated Cross with one 18" and

bide will be reoeived up to the hour ot 7:00 o'clock P.M. OR
July 10, 1956.
