RESOLUTION NO. 3336
A RESOLUTION OF THE CrTY COUNCIL OF THE CTrY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETER MINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS
OF THE CITY AND THAT ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2
OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE SHOULD BE AMENDED
TO ACCOMPLISH SAID CHANGE OF ZONE.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution de-
claring its intention to ohange the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and desoribed and did fix a time and
plaoe for the holding of a publio hearing thereon in the manner
and as presoribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim
Municipal COde, and did duly hold and oonduct two publio hearings
to oonsider suoh proposed change of zone or zones and did re-
oeive evidenoe and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the final hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly
announce by formal resolution its findings of faots and deolare
its opinions and reasons for reoommending an amendment to said
Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anahebn Municipal Code to effeot
the proposed ohanges of the boundaries of the zone hereinafter
mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon reoeipt of the report and reoommendation
of the City Planning CommiSSion, the City Council did thereupon
fix the 19th day of June , 19 56 , as the time
and the CouncIl Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim
as the plaoe for a public hearing upon said proposed ohange of
zone and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided
in said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim MuniCipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said publio
hearing, the City Counoil did duly hold and oonduot suoh public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportu-
nity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council do es find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be ohanged from the zone in
whioh it is now situated to a different zone as hereinafter set
forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones to which it is
proposed to change said property and area and that the inclusion
of said property and area in suoh new zone or zones will inorease
the value of said property and area and will not depreoiate the
values of property in adjoining zones.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counoil of
tihe City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, de-
s~rlbed as follows, to wit:

the Southwest i of the Southwest i, Section 12,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West S.B.B & M.,
fronting 609 feet on Stanton Ave. (Hwy. 39)
and 332 feet on Lincoln Avenue and located at
the Northeast corner of Stanton & Lincoln
Avenues.

ZONE,
Upon the following conditions:
1. That curbs, gutters and sidewalks be installed
along stanton and Lincoln Avenues as designated
by the City Engineer.
2. That all engineering requirements of the City
of Anaheim be complied with as required by the
City Engineer.
BE IT FUEIH2R RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
hG is hereby, authorisod and directed to prepare and submit to
tho City Counoil an am8ndment to Art~c~e IX, Chapter 3 of the
