56R-3333 !~ RESOLUTION NO. 3333 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution recommending denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having fixed a time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and after having duly held and conducted such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and rmEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending a denial of said proposed change in the boundaries of the zone or zones here- inafter mentioned and described; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the 19th day of June, 1956, as the time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Ccmmission; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in which it is now situated to a different zone or zones, as hereinafter set forth, is more suitable for the zone in which it is now incorporated and that a change of zone should not be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that all of the property, and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: Tract No. 3064. Also described as a portion of Anaheim Vineyard Lot-B described as follows: commencing at a point of intersection of Wilhelmina Street and the Union Pacific Right of Way and running in a Westerly direction a distance of 467.12' thence 791.401 in a Southerly direction, thence 354.711 in an Easterly direction, thence Northerly along the Union Pacific Right of Way to the point of beginning. ,~ remain in the R-3, MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE in which it is now in- corporated, and that the reclassification to M-l, LIGHT MANUFACTURING be denied as recommended by the City Planning Commission. -1- . ..-- THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this 19th day of June 1956.
