A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEII1 FINDING AND DETERMINING 'IHAT PUBLIC CON-
VENIENCE AND ~ffiCESSITY REQUIRE THE CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF A PUBLIC IMPROV~1ENT, TO WIT:

AND APPROVING THE DES[ GNS, PLANS, PROFILES, DRAW-
INGS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
THEREOF; AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT IN ACCOHDANCE WITH SAID PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, ETC.; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECT-
ING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH A NOTICE INVITING
SEALED PROPOSALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, publio convenience and neoessity require the
construotion and completion of a publio improvement in the Gity
ot Anaheim, to wi t :
The illlprovement of t he intersection at La Palma
Avenue and East Street by construction of CUlverts,
excavation, paving with plant-lR1x, adjusting exist-
ing manholes to grade, construction of concrete
curbs and gutters, construction of 8tO~ draina,
inCluding all equipment, castiDgs, structure. and
excavation, construction ot plant-mix be~s, and
appurtenant werk, as indioated on the plans, Job
Io. 117.
AND WHEREAS, the City Counoil instruoted ~~2e B.
H~awA~ Crff Rni!D88f to prepare detaile esigns,
p s, pro es, raw ~gs and speoifications, and estimates of
quantities and costs" and make necessary surveys for the construo-
tion of said public improvement; and
WHEREAS, said City Bn~in.er has prepared said detailed
designs, plans, prOfiles, drawings and speoifications for the con-
struction of said publio improvement and has submitted the same to
the City Counoil; and
WHEREAS, the City Counoil finds that the detailed de-
sians, plans, proriles, drawings and spe~iflcations for said publio
improveme:Jt above mentioned are in accordanoe with good engineering
praotioe and are adequate to serve the needs and requirements of
the City of Anaheim and the citizens and residents in said area for
th e purpose s for which they are intended, and that they are ade-
quate for the construotion of said public improvement and should
be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counoil of the
City of Anaheim that the detailed designs, plans, prOfiles, draw-
ing~ and speoifications for said publio improvement hereinabove
mentioned and desoribed be, and the same are hereby, approved and
adopted as prepared by said City Ena1n..~ .
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said publio improvement
shall be oonstruoted in aocordanoe with said detailed deSigns,
plans, prOfiles, drawings and speoifications as prepared by said
and hereby approved, and suoh addenda or
roo ca ons th~eto as may be approved prior to the awarding of

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim be, and she is hereby, authorized and direoted to
publish a notioe aocording to law, inviting sealed proposals for
the furnishing of all plant, labor, serv*oes, materials and equip-
ment, a~d all utilities and transportati9n, inoluding power, fuel
.'~ and water, and performing all work necessary to construct and com-
plete in a good and workmanlike manner, inst:r 1ct accordance with
said detailed deSigns, plans, prOfiles, drawings and specifioa-
tions as prepared by said 01~ ~..ta~ ' the publio improve-
ment hereinabeve mentioned an desoribe, and fixing the 10~
day of __~ , 195 A, at the hour of 7:00 ololook P.M.
as the c~atelr;:l hour for tfi"e"opening of said bids at the City
