A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD
AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for muntipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of CRAIG JEWETT CO., a
partnership, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes, and more particularly described
as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across those portions of the North-
east quarter of Section 22, Township 4 South, Range
11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 51, pages 7 and following, of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Califor-
nia, described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: The Northerly 53.00 feet (as measured
at right angles to the center line of Ball Road)
and the Easterly 53.00 feet (as measured at right
angles to the center line of Knott Avenue) of that
parcel of land described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Section 22;
running thence West along the North line of said
section to a point in the Northeasterly line of the
100 foot right of way of Pacific Electric Railway;
thence South 53 47: 30" East along the Northeasterly
line of said right of way to an intersection with the
Northerly line of the land conveyed to the Pacific
Electric Railway Company by deed recorded February 29,
1912, in Book 209, page 382 of Deeds, records of Orange
County; thence North 89 20' 30" East along said
Northerly line and the Easterly extension thereof
74.99 feet to the East line of said section; thence
North along said East line 130.55 feet to the point
of beginning.

PARCEL TWO: Beginning at the Northeast corner of
said Section 22, said Northeast corner being the
center line intersection of Ball Road with the center
line of Knott Avenue; thence Southerly along the center
line of Knott Avenue a distance of 68.15 feet; thence
Westerly at right angles from the center line of said
Knott Avenue to the intersection with a line parallel
with and 53.00 feet Westerly of the center line of
said Knott Avenue, said point of intersection being
the beginning of a curve concave Southwesterly and
having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence Northerly and
Westerly along said curve through a central angle of
90 07? 32" an arc distance of 23.59 feet to the inter-
section with a line parallel with and 53.00 feet
Southerly of the center line of said Ball Road;
thence Northerly at right angles to the center line
of said Bali Road; thence Easterly along the center
line of said Ball Road to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion thereof included
within Parcel One above described.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT THE Mayor of the City of

22nd day of May, 1962.
