A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CXlUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASBlENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
ut. i 1 i ty pm::poses ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of BEN NEWMAN and MTLDRED
NEWHAJ.~. husband and wife.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real prop-
erty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for road and public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility
purposes over, under and across the South-
erly 9 feet of that parcel of land located
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, and being a portion
of Lot 4 in Block 12 of the Fairview Colony
Tract as shown on a map recorded in Book 1,
page 33 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County,
more particularly described as follows:
The Easterly 80 feet of the Westerly 530
feet of the North One-half of said Lot of
the Fairview Colony Tract.
be and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to ~he
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the Clty
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no/lOa Dollars ($1.00),
