A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
AND ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES AND ACCEPTING A
GRANT DEED CONVEYING SAID PROPERTY TO
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, MARLBOROUGH HOMES, a partnership, is the
owner of the hereinafter described real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California;
and
WHEREAS, said owner has offered to sell said prop-
erty to the City of Anaheim for the sum of $4,400.00 cash,
lawful money of the United States; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that public convenience and necessity require the purchase
and acquisition of said real property for municipal purposes,
and that the price which the owner thereof is willing to
accept is reasonable and not out of proportion to the fair
market value of said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of MARLBOROUGH HOMES,
a partnership, to sell to the City of Anaheim all that real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows, to wit:
Lots "A" and "B" of Tract No. 4533, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 161
Pages 22 23 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records
of Orange County, California,
for the sum of $4,400.00 cash, lawful money of the United
States, be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby accept the conveyance of
said real property above described.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Direc-
tor be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to
MARLBOROUGH HOMES, a partnership, the sum of $4,400.00 cash,
lawful money of the United States.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is a••roved and signed
by me this 1st day of May, 1962.
