A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM RATIFYING AND APPROVING
CERTAIN EXTRA WORK UNDER WORK ORDER NO.
2830, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of July, 1960, the City of
Anaheim entered into a contract with A. S. Schulman Electric
Company for the construction, installation and completion of
four (L1) 66/12 KV Substations, Work Order No. 2830; and
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of July 1962, by its
Resolution No. 62R- 61i)i, the City of Anaheim did accept the work
under said contract and said Work Order No. 2830 and did direct
and authorize the filing of a notice of completion in connection
therewith; and
WHEREAS, during the course of the completion of the
work contemplated under said contract certain extra work and
changes in work were required by the City of Anaheim, said
extra work and changes being reduced to writing by incoporation
in the revised plans and specifications; and
WHEREAS, any differences of opinion or disputes which
may have ,arisen in connection with said extra work and changes
have been resolved between the said A. S. Schulman Electric
Company and the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, after making allowances for credits for
deletions and extra costs, including Engineering and. Drafting,
for changes and additions, there remains a net amount due to
said A. S. Schulman Electric Company of $8,585.73 in addition
to amounts heretoforepaid under said contract of July 17, 1960
and Work Order No. 2830.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the extra work and changes under the
contract of July 17, 1960 between the City of Anaheim and
A. S. Schulman Electric Company, Work Order No. 2830, be and
the same are hereby ratified and approved as the same are
more particularly set forth in that certain letter of August 1,
1962, from said Schulman Electric Company to the Public Utility
Director of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be
and he is hereby authorized and directed to pay to A. S. Schulman
Electric Company the sum of $8,585.73 as full and final payment
for extra work and changes under said Work Order No. 2830.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is s cned and approved by me
