1962-0709A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR EASEMENTS FOR public utility and
electric power line purposes.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real
property for municipal purposes, to wit: Easements for
public utility and electric power line purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has
offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of
Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest
of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase
said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of MADRONE
INVESTMENT COMPANY to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for easements for public utility and electric

and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for public utility purposes over, under
and across those portions of the South 5 acres of
the North 10 acres of the West 20 acres of the North
half of the Northwest quarter of Section 18, Township
4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. &M., described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: The Southerly 5 feet and the Northerly
5 feet of the Westerly 196.00 feet of the above described
property.
PARCEL TWO: The Southerly 5 feet and the Northerly 5 feet
of the Easterly 158.9 feet of the Westerly 405.9 feet
of the above described property.
PARCEL THREE: The Southerly 5 feet and the Northerly 5
feet of the Easterly 2)4 feet of the above described
property.
PARCEL FOUR: The Easterly 5 feet of the Northerly 25
feet and the Easterly 5 feet of the Southerly 25 feet
of the above described property.
PARCEL FIVE: The Easterly 20 feet of the Northerly
9.1 feet of the Southerly 176.1 feet of the above
described property.
PARCEL ONE: The Southerly 5 feet and the Northerly
5 feet of the Easterly 51.00 feet of the Westerly
247.00 feet of the above described property.
PARCEL TWO: The Southerly 5 feet and the Northerly
5 feet of the Westerly 224.00 feet of the Easterly
248.00 feet of the above described property.
PARCEL THREE: The Easterly 5 feet and the Southerly
132.00 feet of the Northerly 157.00 feet and the
Easterly 5 feet of the Northerly 142.00 feet of the
Southerly 167.00 feet of the above described property.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City
of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to
pay to the owners of said real property, out of General
Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 31st day of July 19 62

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Schutte.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
