A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT
OF ORDINANCE NO. 1590 IN RECLASSIFICATION
PROCEEDINGS NO. 60 -61 -7 AND IN ACCORDANCE
WITH RECLASSIFICATION NO. 61 -62 -106.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending that "Ordinance No. 1590 in Reclassification
Proceedings No. 60 -61 -7 be amended in accordance with Reclass-
ification No. 61 -62 -106, after having held a public hearing
on the amendment of said ordinance in the manner and as pre-
scribed in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, within a period of 40 days following the final
hearing thereon the Planning Commission did duly announce by
formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions
and reasons for recommending an amendment to said ordinance; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon
fix the 3rd day of July, 1962, as the time and the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to said
Ordinance No. 1590; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine, after
careful consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission and the evidence and reports received at said hearing,
that Ordinance No. 1590 should be amended in accordance with
Reclassification No. 61 -62 -106, as more particularly hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City Attorney be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City Council
an amendment to Ordinance No. 1590 in Reclassification Proceedings
No. 60 -61 -7 amending said ordinance in accordance with Reclassifi-
cation No. 61 -62 -106, as more particularly hereinafter set forth.
That said Ordinance No. 1590 shall be amended to
provide that the C -1, Neighborhood Commercial Zone,
Declaration of Restrictions on file in the Office
of the County Recorder of Orange County, California,
recorded in Book 5749, Page 522, Document No. 6502,
be amended as follows:
That Condition No. 3 of said restrictions, which reads
as follows:
"3. No building shall be used for residential purposes
on this property unless rezoned. No sales of beer,
wine or liquor shall be permitted on this property.

shall be amended to read:
No building shall be used for residential
purposes on this property unless rezoned."
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 3rd day of July, 1962.
