A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM EXTENDING THAT CERTAIN CONTRACT
ENTERED INTO ON JUNE 1, 1958, BY AND BETWEEN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND WARREN W. JAYCOX FOR
THE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF GARBAGE, RUBBISH
AND WASTE MATERIAL IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, FOR
AN ADDITIONAL PERIOD OF THREE YEARS FROM JUNE 30,
1962.
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the 1st day of June,
1958, a written contract was duly made and entered into by and
between the City of Anaheim and Warren W. Jaycox, for the
collection and disposal of garbage, rubbish and waste material
in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, said agreement and amendments subsequent thereto
have provided that upon the expiration of the period of time
ending June 30, 1962, the City of Anaheim shall have the option to
renew said agreement for an additional period; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
it would be to the advantage and for the best interest of the City
of Anaheim to renew said contract for a further term of three
years upon the same terms and conditions as set forth in the con
tract and amendments thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the contract heretofore made and entered
into on June 1, 1958, by and between the City of Anaheim and Warren
W. Jaycox, and amendments thereto, be and the same is hereby
renewed for a period of three years, commencing on the 1st day of
July, 1962, and ending on the 30th day of June, 1965, upon the
same terms and conditions as set forth in said contract dated
June 1, 1958, and amendments thereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and empowered to enter into a con-
tract for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim with Warren W.
Jaycox for the collection and disposal of garbage, rubbish and
waste material in the City of Anaheim, upon the terms and conditions
as herein provided.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
26th day of June, 1962.

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim

June, 1962.
