A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

VENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE CONSTRUCTION

INGS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
THEREOF; AU'IHOEIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT IN ACCOP~ANCE WITrl SAID PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, ETC.; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECT-
ING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH A NOTICE INVITING
SEALED PROPOSALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF.
vlliEREAS, public convenienoe and necessity require the
oonstruction and completion of a publio improvement in the City
of Anaheim, to wit:

AND WHEREAS, the City Council instruoted E. D. Johnson
and Com~anv to prepare detailed designs,
plans, proflles, drawings and speoifications, and estimates of
quanti ties and costs., and make necessary surveys for the construc-
ti6n of said public improvement; and

WHEREAS, said E. D. "ohnson andhas prepared said detailed
deaigns, plans, profiles, drawlngs and speoifications for the oon-
struction of said public improvement and has submitted the same to
the City Counoil; and
WHEREAS, the City Counoil finds that the detailed de-
signs, plans, profiles, drawings and speoifications for said public
improvemEnt above mentioned are in accordanoe with good engineering
praotice and are adequate to serve the needs and requirements of
the City of Anaheim and the oit~zens and residents in said area for
th e purpose s for which they are intended, and that they are ade-
quate for the oonstruotion of said public improvement and should
be approved.

NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counoil of the
City of Anaheim that the detailed designs, plans, profiles, draw-
ings and specifications for said publio improvement hereinabove
men'tioned and described be, and the same are hereby, approved and
adopted as prepared by said E. D. Johnson and Co~pany.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said publio improvement
shall be constructed in aocordanoe with said detailed designs,
plans, profiles, drawings and speoifioations as prepared by said E. D.
~~on and CO~Rnv and hereby approved, and suoh addenda or
mOM ioations ereto as may be appro ved prior to the awarding of
bids therefor.

publish a notice aocording to law,inviting sealed proposals for
the furnishing of all plant, labor, servioes, materials and equip-
ment, and all utilities and transportation, inoluding power, fuel
and water, and performing all work neoessary to construct and oom-
plet.e in a good and workmanlike manner, in str let aocordanoe with
said detailed designs, plans, prOfiles, drQwings and speoifioa-
tions as prepared by said company , the public improve-
ment hereinabc,ve mentioned and described, and fixing the 22nd
