A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIH OORREOTING A TYPOGRAPHIOAL ERROR
IN RESOLUTION NO. 3158, RELATING TO HAGNOLIA-
ORESOEi'IT ANNEXATION NO.2.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
on the 28th day of February, 1956, adopt Resolution No. 3158
acknowledging receipt of a petition for the annexation of cer-
tain uninhabited territory to the Oity of Anaheim, and designat-
ing the territory as Magnolia-Crescent Annexation No.2; and
WHEREAS, in the first paragraph of said Resolution
it was recited thnt the Oity Council did on the "28th day of
November, 195511 receive a written petition asking that oer-
tain ne..l territory described in said petition be annexed to
the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Oouncil does find that the recital
of the date, 1128th day of November, 195.5" was a typographical
error and that in truth and in fact said petition was received
on the 28tll day of February, 1956, as appears from the minutes
of the Oity Olerk of the Oity of Anaheim; and
WHERIGAS, the City Oouncil does further find that the
correction of said Resolution to show the true facts as dis-
closed by the records and files of the Oity Clerk of the Oity
of Anaheim will not substantially affect the rights of property
owners or the persons residing in said territory, and that said
Resolution should be corrected to recite the true date upon
which the petition for the annexation of said territory was
received.
Nail, THEREFORE, BE ITRESOLV'i:D by the City Oouncil
of the Oity of Anaheim that the first paragraph of Resolution
No. 3158, heretofore adopted by the Oity Oouncil of the City
of Anaheim, be, and the S8.!lle is, hereby amendeo_ to read as
follows:
"WHl-:HEAS, the Oi ty Council of the City of
Anaheim did_ on the 28th day of February,
1956, receive a written petition asking
that certain new territory described in
said petition be annexed to the City of
Anaheim; andll
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 24th day of April, 1956.
