A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF AN EASEMENT UPON, OVER, ACROSS AND
ALONG THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, on or about the 6th day of December, 1911,
the City of Anaheim did acquire an easement for the construc-
tion and maintenance of an outfall sewer for the City of
Anaheim over and across a strip of land eight (8) feet in
width situated in the County of Orange, State of California,
the center line of which is described as follows:
Beginning at a point 1321 feet west of the
northeast corner of Section 20, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.; thence
southwest 937.6 feet; thence west 996 feet;
thence southwest 944 feet, to a point 334
feet east of the northwest corner of the
southeast quarter of the northwest quarter
of Section 20, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, S.B.B. M.
AND WHEREAS, said easement and no part thereof has
ever been used for the purpose for which it was dedicated or
acquired, nor at all; and
WHEREAS, the period of time during which said ease-
ment has not been used is in excess of forty -four (44) years,
and said easement, or any part thereof, is unnecessary for
present or prospective future public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim:
(1) That it finds the recitals hereinabove set
forth in this Resolution to be true;
(2) That it finds from all the evidence submitted
that said easement, or any part thereof, hasnever been used
for the purpose for which it was intended, nor at all, and
that the same is unnecessary for present or prospective public
purposes;
(3) That it does hereby order that said easement
upon, over, across and along the hereinafter described real
property be, and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned.
(4) That said easement herein ordered vacated and
abandoned is that certain easement described as follows:
An easement for the construction and maintenance
of an outfall sewer for the City of Anaheim over
and across a strip of land eight (8) feet in
width situated in the County of Orange, State of
California, the center line of which is described
as follows:

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certi-
fied copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under
the seal of the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office
of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this -27th day of December, 1955.

was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting, provided
by law, of the City Council of the City of Anaheim, held
on the 27th day of December, 1955, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Pearson, fry, Schutte, Wisser,
and Van Wagoner.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY thatthe Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Resolution on the2'7 th day
of December, 1955.
