A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DELD CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and hest interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ANAHEIM SCHOOL DISTRICT OF
ORANGE COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of California,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real prop-
erty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement to the City of Anaheim, County of Oran State of
California, for road and public utilities purposes over, under
and across the strip of land hereinafter described, being a
portion of Lot 9 of the Anaheim Homestead Tract as per map thereof
recorded in Book 26, Pae 10 of iliscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, California, said land being described as follows:
Beginning at the Nothwesterly corner of said Lot 9, as indicated
on a map filed in Book 28, Page 32, Records of Survey in the
Office of the County Recorder of said County of Orange; thence
Southerly 633.01 feet along the Westerly line of said Lot 9 to a
point that is 630.88 feet Southerly of the Northerly line of said
Lot 9 measured at right angles from said Northerly line; thence
Northeasterly 30.10 feet along a line that is parallel with and
630.88 feet from said Northerly line, to a point in a line that
is 30.00 feet Easterly and :arallel with said Westerly line;
thence Northerly 589.09 feet along said last mentioned parallel
line to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave Southeasterly
and having a radius of 15 feet, said tangent curve being the curve
that joins a line 30.00 feet Southerly and parallel with said
Northerly line; thence 22.33 feet Northerly and Easterly along
said tangent curve to said last mentioned parallel line; thence
Northerly at right angles to said last mentioned parallel line
30.00 feet to said Northerly line; thence Westerly 41.45 feet
along said Northerly line to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 Dollars ('1.00).
