A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DELD CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STORM DRAIN STRUCTURES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for lazyins and main
taining storm drain structures and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of RICHFIELD OIL CORPORATION
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real prop-
erty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for laying and maintaining storm drain
structures and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for laying and maintaining storm drain structures
over the following described property:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Section 19, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., running thence South 0°
27' 00" West along the Easterly line of said Section 19,
50.00 feet to a point; thence South 89° 5L.' 40" West, parallel
to the Northerly line of said Section 19, 70.00 feet to the
true point of beginning; thence South 89° 54.' 40" West, 65.00
feet parallel to the Northerly line of Section 19, being the
Southerly line of an easement conveyed by Richfield Oil Com-
pany by deed recorded April 5, 1955 in Book 3021, Page 36 of
Official Records, to the County of Orange for highway purposes;
thence South 0° 27' 00" East 10.00 feet; thence North 89°
54' .0" East, 75.00 feet to a point being 60.00 feet Westerly
at right angles to the Easterly line of said Section 19; thence
Northwesterly in a direct line along a Westerly line of an
easement for highway purposes conveyed by Richfield Oil Com-
pany by deed recorded April 5, 1955 in Book 3021, Page 36 of
Official Records of the County of Orange, to the true point
of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 Dollars G.1.00).
