A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL TO
CONSIDER THE RELOCATION AND IMPROVEMENT AS A
FREEWAY OF A PORTION OF STATE HIGHWAY ROUTES
2 AND 19, IN ORANGE COUNTY, ON ROUTE 2 BE-
TWEEN ROUTE 174 AND ROUTE 176, AND ON ROUTE
19 BETWEEN ROUTE 176 AND THE ORANGE -LOS
ANGELES COUNTY LINE, IS NOT NECESSARY,
WHEREAS, a request has been made that the City
Council of the City of Anaheim determine whether or not a
public hearing before the City Council will be required
before the relocation and improvement as a freeway of a
portion of State Highway Routes 2 and 19, in Orange County,
on Route 2 between Route 174 and Route 176, and on Route
19 between Route 176 and the Orange-Los Angeles County Line,
is made; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that a hearing before the City Council of the City of
Anaheim in the matter of the proposed relocation and im-
provement as a freeway of a portion of State Highway Routes
2 and 19 above mentioned, is not necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that no public hearing shall be re-
quired to be held before the City Council for the relocation
and improvement as a freeway of a portion of State Highway
Routes 2 and 19, in Orange County, on Route 2 between Route
174 and Route 176, and on Route 19 between Route 176 and the
Orange -Los Angeles County Line, as shown on a map thereof
presented to the City Council with a letter from the State
of California, Department of Public Works, Division of High-
ways, District VII, dated November 29, 1955, signed by G. T.
McCoy, State Highway Engineer, by Edward T. Telford, District
Engineer.
BE IT FJRTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of
this resolution be furnished to the Department of Public
Works, Division of Highways of the State of California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 13th day of December, 1955.
