A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ELBERT L. SMITH and
LIDA SMITH, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real prop-
erty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the land described
by deed recorded June 10th, 1954 in Book 2744, page 322
of Official Records; thence North 89° 57 East 60 feet,
more or less, along the Northerly line of said land to a
point of intersection with a line parallel to and 60
feet Easterly as measured at right angles to the center
line of Harbor Boulevard; thence North 0 16 25" West
2 45 feet, more or less, along said line parallel to and
6o feet distant from the center line of Harbor Boulevard
to a point in the Southeasterly right of way line of
Midway Drive as conveyed to the State of California by
document No. 20072 filed in the office of the Registrar
of Titles of Orange County; thence South 48° 11 29"
West 40 feet, more or, less, along said Southeasterly
right of way line of Midway Drive to a point of inter-
section with a line parallel to and distant 30 feet
Easterly as measured at right angles from the center line
of said Harbor Boulevard; thence South 89° 571 West 30
feet, more or less, to the center line of said Harbor
Boulevard; thence South 0 16 25" East along the center
line of said Harbor Boulevard to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 Dollars (1.00).
