A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE OF A
RIGHT OF WAY FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Rene Quatacker and Mary E. Quatacker,
husband and wife, are now the owners of the following de-
scribed real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, more particularly
described as follows:
PARCEL 3:
(A) The Easterly ten (10) feet of the
Westerly forty (40) feet of the Northerly six
hundred twenty (620) feet of the South half
of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest
quarter of Section 22, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon
de Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of
California, as said section is shown on a
map recorded in Book 51, Page 10 of Miscel-
laneous Maps in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County;
EXCEPT the North one (1) foot thereof.
(B) Beginning at the Southwest corner
of Section 22, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
San Bernardino Base Meridian, said corner
being the intersection of the center lines of
West Street and Katelia Avenue; thence Easterly
along the center line of Katelia Avenue and the
South line of said Section 22 a distance of 150
feet to a line, said line being at right angles
to the above described center line; thence
Northerly along said last mentioned right angle
line a distance of 40 feet to the true point of
beginning of this description; thence continuing
Northerly along said last mentioned right angle
line a distance of 20 feet to a line parallel
with and 60 feet Northerly measured at right
angles from the center line of Katelia Avenue;
thence Westerly along said last mentioned paral-
lel line to a point 55 feet Easterly measured at
right angles from the center line of West Street;
thence Northwesterly in a direct line to the
intersection of a line parallel with and 75 feet
Northerly, as measured at right angles, from the
center line of Katelia Avenue with a line parallel
with and 40 feet Easterly measured at right angles
from the center line of West Street; thence
Southerly along said last mentioned parallel line
to a line parallel with and 40 feet northerly, as
measured at right angles, from the center line of
Katella Avenue; thence easterly along said last
mentioned parallel line to the true point of be-
ginning,

AND WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable for
the City of Anaheim to acquire a right of way upon, over,
across and along said property for the widening of a por-
tion of that certain highway commonly known as West Street;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that it would be for the best interest of the City of Anaheim
to acquire said right of way for the widening of a portion
of said highway; and
WHEREAS, the said Rene Quatacker and Mary E.
Quatacker, husband and wife, have offered to convey a right
of way for highway purposes upon, over, across and along
the real property hereinabove mentioned and described for
a consideration of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000), and have
executed and tendered to the City of Anaheim a Deed of Right
of Way granting to the City of Anaheim an easement in the
above described land for highway purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of Rene Quatacker and
Mary E. Quatacker, husband and wife, to convey to the City
of Anaheim an easement in the above described land for the
widening of a portion of that certain highway commonly known
as West Street, for a consideration of Two Thousand Dollars
($2,000), be, and the same is, hereby accepted; and that the
Deed of Right of Way conveying said property to the City of
Anaheim be, and the same is, hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is, hereby authorized to
pay out of the 1954 Street Improvement Bond Fund, to the
owners of said real property or their authorized representa-
tive, the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 22nd day of November, 1955.

I, DENE M. WILLIAMS, City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, do
hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was adopted upon a final
reading at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim,
held on the 22nd day of November, 1955, by the following vote of the
members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Fry, Schutte, Wisser and Van Wagoner.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMAN: Pearson.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the.Mayor Pro Tem of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Resolution on the 22nd day of.November,
1955.
