A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DELD CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of Phillip Daniels, a
widower,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real prop-
erty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Westerly 60 feet of the Southwest quarter of the
Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 22, in Town-
ship 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa
Ana, City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
shown on a map thereof recorded in book 51, page 7, et seq.,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County;
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Southerly 256 feet thereof;
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion included within the following:
Beginning at a point in the West line of the Southeast quarter of
Section 22, in Township 4 South, Range 10 West, said point being
639.26 feet South 0° 14' 30" East from the center of said Section
22; said center point being the intersection of the center line of
Cerritos Avenue from the West with the North and South quarter
section line of said Section 22, running thence North 89° 55' 30"
East 660.75 feet to a one -inch iron pipe as shown on a Licensed
Surveyor's Map, recorded in book 15, page 4, Record of Surveys, in
the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County; thence
South 0° 14' 45" East 165.00 feet along the Southerly extension of
the East line of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of
the Southeast quarter of said Section 22; thence South 89 55' 30"
East 660.77 feet to a point in the said West line of the Southeast
quarter of Section 22; thence North 0° 14' 30" West 165.00 feet to
the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 Dollars (n1.0O).
