RESOLUTION NO. 3009
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM CHANGING THE NAMES OF CERTAIN STREETS
IN VARIOUS TRACTS WITHIN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of November, 1955, the City
Planning Commission did duly pass and adopt its Resolution
No. 71 Series 1955 -56 finding that there have been dupli-
cations in the names of certain streets in the County and
City of Anaheim, resulting in confusion to the public and
the Anaheim Post Office Department, and that with the develop—
ment of numerous subdivisions or tracts it now becomes pos—
sible to provide continuity of streets along a logical pattern;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that prior to the
adoption of said Resolution No. 71 Series 1955-56, the City
Planning Commission did hold and conduct a public hearing,
notice of which was duly given as required by law and the pro—
visions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Section 9200, and fol—
lowing said hearing did adopt said resolution finding that the
street names listed below are confusing to the public and the
Anaheim Post Office Department and recommending to the City
Council of the City of Anaheim that the names of said streets,
in the tracts designated, be changed as follows:

AND WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the duplica—
tions in the names of certain streets in the County and City
are confusing to the public and the Anaheim Post Office Depart-
ment, and does further find that with the extensive development
of subdivisions and tracts it now becomes possible to provide
continuity of streets along a logical pattern; and that by rea—
son of the foregoing facts, public convenience and necessity
require that the names of said streets in said tracts, as above
set forth, be changed to avoid confusion and inconvenience.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the names of the streets in the tracts
hereinabove mentioned be, and the same are hereby, changed as
follows:
