3UCKEYE MODEL 407 LADDER-TYPE DITCHER.
WHEREAS, the City Council dpes find and determine
that public convenience and necessity require the purchase of
one l~dder-type ditcher; and
Wh~RLAS, Warnock-Bancroft Eguipment qompany, 9635
Rush Street, El Monte, California, has offered to furnish one
Buckeye Hodel 407 ladder-type. .di tcher to dig 8' deep and 2L~"
wide IVith standard Buckeye buckets and holders permitting use
of Buckeye teeth, Nixon double edge teeth or Jiffey teeth, and
powered with a Chrysler 6-cylinder Sasoline engine, 6-volt
electric starting system, battery, oi~ bath air cleaner; lor
power shifted conveyor hinged to reduce overall IVidth under 8'
for travel; telescopic boom; bucketclLeaner and depth gauge
installed, ready to dig, for a price of $14,600.00, terms 2% -
15 days, plus 4% saltls ta.x,delivery to be made 3 weeks from
and after receipt of order; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said price is
the lowest obtainable i'or the purchase of said ladder-type
ditcher, and that the offer of Warnock-Bancroft Equipment Com-
pany should be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counoil
of the City of Anaheim that the offer oi' Warnook-Bancroft
Equipment Company, 9635 Rush Street, El Monte, Calif~rnia, to
furnish said Buckeye Model 407 ladder-type ditoher to dig 81
deep and 24" wide, wi th standard Buckeye buckets and holders
permitting use of Buckeye teeth, Nixon double edge teeth or
Jiffey teeth, and powered with Chrysler 6-cylinder gasoline
engine, 6-volt electric starting system, battery, oil bath air
cleaner; 10' power shii'ted conveyor hinged to reduce overall
width under 8r i'or travel; telescopic boom; buoket cleaner and
depth gauge installed, ready to dig, i'or the following price:
