A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIH FINDING AND DETERMINING 'THAT PUBLIC CON-
VENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE CONSTRUCTION
AIID COMPLETION OF A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT, TO WIT:

WHEREAS, public convenienoe and neoessity require the
construotion and oompletion of a publio improvement in the City
of Anaheim, to wit:
A"iil1JAPPROVINO- frEE DES!: GNS, PLANS, PROFILES, DRAW-
INGS AND SPECIF~CATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
THEREOF; AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID
PUBLIC IMPROVEMEN'l' IN ACCORDANCE WITH SAID PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, ETC.; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECT-
ING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH A NOTICE INVITING
SEALED PROPOSALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF.
The lmprovement of South Olive Street, from
Sante Ana Street to Vermont Avenue, by ex-
cl'vation, paving vIi th 4-inoh plant-mix,
e,djusting existing manholes to grade, in-
stalling 2" x 6" redi\TOod headers, and
armurtenant work, as indicated on the
plans, Project NO.5].
AND WHEREAS, the City Council instructed ~e8rie E.
~o~voke, Crfv E;r:jnefr to prepare detaile esigns,
pans) Prof es, raw ngs and specifications, and estimates of
quantities and costs, and make necessary surveys for the construc_
tion of said public improvement; and
WHEREAS, said Ci~Y Engineer has prepared said detailed
designs, plans, profiles, rawings and speoifications for the oon-
struction of' said public improvement and has submitted the same to
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the detailed de-
signs, plans, prOfiles, drawings and specifications for said pUblic
improvement above mentioned are in accordance with good engineering
practice a.'1d are adequate to serve the needs and requirements of
the City of Anaheim and the citizens and residents in said area for
th e purpose s for whieh they are intended, and that they are ade-
quate for the construction of said public improvement and should
be approved.
NOW, 'IHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counoil of the
City of Anaheim that the detailed designs, plans, prOfiles, draw-
ings and specifications for said publio improvement hereinabove
mentioned and described be, and the same are hereby, approved and
adopted as prepared by said Citv Eng"lneer .
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said public improvement
shall be construoted in accordanoe with said detailed designs,
plans, prOfiles, drawings and speoifications as prepared by said
~tf, Entinp.p.~ and hereby approved, and Such addenda or
mo i ioa ions thereto as may be approved prior to the awarding of
bi ds th er efor.
