A RESOLUTIOu' OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHi.EIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONtiEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STREET AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for street and
public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City
of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NtkW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of VERNE L. CRAMER and
MARJORIE W. CRAMMER, husband and wife, and the DEPARTMENT OF
VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, to sell to the
City of Anaheim the f ollowing described real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for street and public utility purposes, and more
particularly described as follows:
An easement for street and public utilities purposes
over the westerly twenty -five (25) feet of that portion
of the North half of the Southwest quarter of the
Southeast quarter of Section 17, Township South, Range
10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, more par-
ticularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Southwest
quarter of the Southeast quarter of said Section 17,
and running thence Easterly along the North line of
said Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter, 170
feet; thence Southerly parallel with the Westerly line
of said Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter,
62 feet; thence Westerly parallel with said North line
170 feet to said Westerly line; thence Northerly along
said Westerly line 62 feet to the point of beginning.
Said land was formerly part of Registrarts Certificate
of Title No. 13,287.
be,and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 Dollars ('1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 25th day of October, 1955.
