A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STREET PURPOSE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for
strpe1 purwse s and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of FRED J. THEURER and MARY
ANNA THEURER, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim he following described real prop-
erty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for street purposes
and more particularly described as
follows:
An easement for street purposes over and across
the southerly forty (L0) feet of that portion of
Section 2, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in
the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, County
of Orange, State of California, as said section
is indicated on a map recorded in Book 51, Page
10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the
County Recorder of said County, described as
follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of the southwest
quarter of the southwest quarter of said section;
thence North 89° 50 30" West 240.00 feet along
the south line of said southwest quarter of the
southwest quarter to the true point of beginning;
thence North 0° 371 40" West, 140.00 feet; thence
South 89° 50' 30" East, 80.00 feet; thence South
0° 37 40" East, 140.00 feet to said south line;
thence North 89° 50 30" West 80.00 feet along
said south line to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 Dollars $1.00).
