CITY OF ANAHEIM m~?LOYING A PLANNING
CONSULTANT, AND FIXING HIS COMPENSATION~
WHEREAS, by reason of the rapid growth and expan-
sion of the City of Anaheim many problems have arisen and
are constantly arising relative to the proper planning and
development of the City of Anaheim; and
-WHEREi;,S, the City Council does find and determine
that t)y reason of said rapid:;r'owth and expansion the various
zones heretof'ore established heve been constantly changed,
and many requests are received by the City Council to con-
tinue makin,;; changes in such zones; and
\VI1EHBAS, the City Council does further find that
in order to promote the orderly development of the City and to
c)rotect the rights of property owners and enable the Council
to make deci sions that Hi 11 be for the best interest of all
pelosons concerned in such matbrs, it would be to the ad-
vanc;age and for the best inter8st of t he City of Anaheim to
employ a planning consultant to consult VJith and advise the
City Planning Commission and the City CouDciiL concerning
problems arising in conl1ect~Lon Hith the proper zoning and
planning of tho varLous areas of the City; and
hl}IElmAS, tho Gl ty Councll has caused inquiries to
be made into the O'-1alifications of Vari01.1S persons in an
effort to obtain 81e best ~Aa1ified person possible to act
as such plannin:; c')llsll1tant, and does find that Simon Eisler
is an exoerienced and qua1i.fied planning authority and con-
sultant.
NO~;', 'I'm,;;,SFORE, BE liT RESOLV1:I;D by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Simon Eisner be, and he is hereby,
employed as a planning consl)ltant for the City o.f Anaheim, to
act as SL;_ch planning consultant two (2) days in each month,
to serve durin:; tho ple2sure of' the Council, and that his
Gompensation be, ancl it is hOl"eby, fixed at the sum of One
