OF AN.-\HEIM CONSENTING TO THE COMCEENT
PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF INHABITED
TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WIEREAS, Edward R. Trotter William 0. Maxwell, Louis J.

have filed with the City Council a written request, requeafii*
consent of the City Council of the City of Anaheim to the !ommence
meat of proceedings for the annexation of the hereinafter de-
scribed territory to the City of Anaheim, and stating that aid
territory is inhabited territory and is contiguous to the City of
Anaheim; and.
UHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
it would be to the advantage and benefit of the City of Anaheim
and to the cilzalifted electors resif.ing within said territory to
permit the abode named proponents to commence proceedings for the
annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim, upon the con-
ditions hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, said request has been referred to the City
Planning Commission and its report and recommendations received
recommending the granting of consent to commence proceedings for
annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the consent of the City Council be, and
it is hereby, given to said proponents to commence proceedings for
the annexation of the hereinafter described territory to the City
of Anaheim, upon the following conditions:
First 7 That the proposal for annexation of said terri
tory to the of Anaheim shall be oubmitted to and reported
upon to the proponents by the Bounclary Co7imiEsion of the County
of Orange, with respect to the definioness and certainty of pro-
posed boundaries,
Second: That no petition be circulated for the annexat-
ion of said territory until after notice of intention to circulate
such petition has been published as required by law and a copy of
such notice and an affidavit of publication has been filed with
the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim within ten (10) days after
the date of publication of said notice, and a resolution has been
adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim acknowledging
receipt of said notice and approving the circulation of said petit-
ion.
Third: That the circulation of any petition for the
annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim shall not be
oommenced until twenty-one (21) days after the publication of said
notice of intention to circulate the same.
The boundaries of the territory for which proceedings
are proposed to be commenced for the annexation thereof to the City
of Anaheim are described as follows:

A parcel of land being a portion of Section 7 and 18, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian and Sections 11, 12, 13 and
14, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian and
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of a line parallel to and 15.00 feet northerly
as measured at right angles, of the southerly line of NE. of Section 12, T4S,
R11,W, SBBM, (said southerly line also being the centerline of Crescent Avenue)
and the westerly line of E- of SE4 of NE* of said Section 12, said point also
being an angle point in the existing Anaheim City Limits line as established
by the Magnolia Crescent Annexation to the City of Anaheim, Annexation No. 52
as passed by Ordinance No. 956 on December 28, 1954 and filed with the Secretary
of State on January 31, 1955; thence,
1. Northerly 980 feet, more or less, along said westerly line of E f
SEt of NE-k of Section 12 and also along said existing City Limits l.ne to the
northerly line of Si of of SE* of NEI of said Section 12; thence,
2. Easterly 630 feet, more or less, along said northerly line and also
along said existing City Limits line to a point in a line parallel to and 30.00
feet westerly as measured at right angles, of the east line of said Section 12,
(said east line also being the centerline of Magnolia Avenue); thence,
3. Southerly 980 feet, more or less, along said parallel line and also
along said existing Anaheim City Limits line to a point in said line parallel
to and 15.00 feet northerly as measured at right angles of southerly line of
NE- of Section 12; thence,
4. Easterly 30 feet, more or less, along said parallel line and also along
said existing Anaheim City Limits line to a point in said easterly line of
Section 12; thence,
5. Continuing easterly 30 feet, more or less, along a line parallel to
and 15.00 feet northerly as measured at right angles, of northerly line of
sat of Section 7, T4S, R1OW, SBBMM, and also along said existing Anaheim City
Limits line to a point located 30.00 feet easterly as measured at right angles
from the westerly line of said Section 7, said point also being an angle point
in the existing Anaheim City Limits line as established by the Gilbert Street
Annexation to the City of Anaheim Annexation No. 37 as passed by Ordinance
No. 868 on November 24, 1953 and filed with the Secretary of State on January
11, 1954; thence,
6. Continuing easterly 1171 feet, more or less, along said parallel line
and also along said existing Anaheim City Limits line to the northerly pro—
longation of the easterly line of the W2 of SWi of said Section 7; thence,
7. Southerly 2708 feet, more or less, along said easterly line and its
northerly and southerly prolongations and also along said existing Anaheim
City Limits line to a line parallel to and 30.00 feet southerly as measured
at right angles of northerly line of Section 18, T4S, R1OW, SBBM (said
northerly line also being the centerline of Lincoln Avenue); thence,
8. Westerly 652 feet, more or less, along said parallel line and also along
said existing Anaheim City Limits line to the easterly line of NW* of NWtof
NW* of said Section 18, said point also being an angle point in said existing
Anaheim City Limits line; thence,

northerly prolongation to a line parallel to and 30.00 feet northerly as

a point in a line parallel to and 396.50 feet, westerly, as measured along

27. Northerly 30 feet, more or less, along said existing City Limits line
of Buena Park and also along said parallel line to a line 15000 feet northerly
as measured at right angles, from said southerly line of NEi of Section 12;

28. Easterly 1035 feet, more or less, along said existing City Limits
line of Buena Park and also along said parallel line to the westerly line of
Southern California Edison Company right—of—way; thence,
29. Continuing easterly 265 feet, more or less, along said line parallel
to and 15.00 feet northerly, as measured at right angles from southerly line of
NEi of Section 12 to the east line of said Southern California Edison Company
right —of —way, said point also being an angle point in said existing Anaheim
City Limits line; thence,
30. Continuing easterly 660 feet, more or less, along said parallel line
and also along said existing Anaheim City Limits line to the point of beginning.
