RESOLUTION NO. 2951
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM TERMINATING ALL PROCEEDINGS FOR
THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM OF
THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY KNOWN AS WEST LINCOLN
ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the :16th day of Septem-
ber, 1955, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did receive
a written request from the proponents of the -West Lincoln Annex-
ation requesting consent to commence proceedings for the annexa-
tion to the City of Anaheim of said territory described and set
forth in said written request on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Anaheim, and
WHEREAS, the City Council did thereupon refer said
request to the City Planning Commission for a recommendation
and report, and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
it would be to the advantage of the City of Anaheim and for the
best interests of the electors and property owners within the
territory designated as West Lincoln Annexation that said
annexation proceedings be terminated, and has requested the
City Planning Commission to take no further action upon said
request,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that all proceedings for the annexation to
the City of Anaheim of that certain territory known and desig-
nated as West Lincoln Annexation be and the same are hereby
terminated.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was signed and approved by
me this 30th day of September 1955.
