RESOLUTION NO, 2940
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
of Anaheim that the offer of B. B. Malouf
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real prop-
erty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as
follows:
The Southerly 20.00 feet of the Northerly 50.00
feet, measured from the center line of Ball Road,
of that land described in a deed dated August 3rd,
1948 and recorded in Book 1697, Page 499 of Official
Records, records of the County of Orange, State of
California. Said land being located in the North-
east quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section
23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, being partly in the
City of Anaheim and all in the County of Orange.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 Dollars $1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
this 27th day of September 19 55
