A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT PUBLIC CON
VENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE CONSTRUCTION
A�dD COMPLETION OF A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT, TO WIT:

The construction and complc tion of a shop and
garage at the City Yard on Claudina Street in
Anaheim, California, including all appurtenant
work, Job No. 367, Unit "B," Special Improve-
ment Fund,
AND APPROVING T:r!F E GN AN PROFILES, DRAW-
INGS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
THEREOF; AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SAID PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, ETC.; AND ATJTHORIZING AND DIRECT-
ING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH A NOTICE INVITING
SEALED PROPOSALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF,
WHEREAS, public convenience and necessity require the
construction and completion of a public improvement in the City
of Anaheim, to wit:
AND WHEREAS, the City Council instructed RO ILAND ASS?CIATES,
D. Easton Herrald, Architect, to prepare detailed designs,
plans profiles., drawings and specifications, and estimates of
quantities and costs, and make necessary surveys for the construc-
tion of said public improvement; and
WHEREAS, said Architect has prepared said detailed
designs, plans, profiles, drawings and specifications for the con-
struction of said public improvement and has submitted the same to
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the detailed de-
signs, plans, profiles, drawings and specifications for said public
improvement above mentioned are in accordance with good engineering
practice and are adequate to serve the needs and requirements of
the City of Anaheim and the citizens and residents in said area for
the purposes for which they are intended, and that they are ade-
quate for the construction of said public improvement and should
be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the detailed designs, plans, profiles, draw-
ings and specifications for said public improvement hereinabove
mentioned and described be, and the same are hereby, approved and
adopted as prepared by said Architect
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said public improvement
shall be constructed in accordance with said detailed designs,
plans, profiles, drawings and specifications as prepared by said
Architect and hereby approved, and such addenda or
modifications thereto as may be approved prior to the awarding of
bids therefor.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to
publish a notice according to law, inviting sealed proposals for
the furnishing of all plant, labor, services, materials and equip-
ment, and all utilities and transportation, including power, fuel
and water, and performing all work necessary to construct and com-
plete in a good and workmanlike manner, in strlet accordance with
said detailed designs, plans, profiles, drawings and specifica-
tions as prepared by said Architect the public improve-
ment hereinabove mentioned and described, and fixing the ?th
day of October 1951, at the hour of 7 :00 o'clock
as the c.a i ~.d hour for the opening of said bids at the City
Council C;_ ,:ai;.J<� in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and
that said r e shall be published twice, the first of which
publication: ,_t :ll be at least ten (10) days prior to the date
fixed for the of bids, and that said publications shall
be at least five days apart,
AND DE _T? FURTHER R ;SOLVED that the successful bidder
or bidders ,12.11 be required to enter into a contract with the

seed proposals, this resolution and all applicable City
C: ces or Code Sections and the laws of the State of Cali-
fornia, and shall be required to post bonds and insurance in the
amounts and within the time required by law, as specified in the
notice inviting sealed proposals, and in a form approved by the
City Attorney.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was approved and signed by
