A RESOLUTION OF TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY RTTIPOE S_
WHEREAS, the City Canuncil of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of HAROLD W. SMITH and
BERNADINA M. SMITH husband and wife
to sell to the City of Aliaheim the following described real prop-
erty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for road and public utility urpo
and more particularly described as
follows:
An easement to the City of Anaheim for road and public
utility purposes over, under, across, and through a
portion of the North One Half of Section 17, Township
4 South, Range 10 West, in Rancho Los Coyotes, being
located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California and being shown on a map of Tract
No. 2299 as recorded in Book 70, Pages 44 through 49
of Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County and State, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeasterly corner of Lot 322 of said
Tract No. 2299; thence Easterly in a direct line 125.00
feet to the Southwesterly corner of Lot 321 of said tract;
thence Southerly at right angles to said line 40.00 feet
to the center line of Broadway Avenue as shown on said
map of Tract No. 2299; thence Westerly 125.00 feet along
said center line; thence Northerly 40.00 feet to the point
of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 Dollars $1.00).
